Following the recommendations of the CDC and the Ohio Department of Health, we are limiting patients to bring only 1 visitor. No other visitors will be permitted in the office. No children are permitted in the office at this time. If you are unable to arrange childcare please call the office ahead of time to make arrangements with the office.
Notice Regarding Resumption of Preventive Visits, 1 May 2020
Over the last few months our communities have evolved and went through many rapid changes due to COVID-19. Everyone here at Professionals for Women’s Health hopes you and your families are doing well and have been adjusting to these changes.
As a practice, we have been continuing to provide excellent medical care to all of our patients. We have found new ways to connect with our patients through telemedicine. Here in the office we have been taking extra precautions to protect both our patients and our staff.
As we move into this next phase, we will begin to start seeing more patients back in the office. We will however continue to offer certain visits through telemedicine. At this time, we will also resume well woman exams as well as offer screening mammograms here in the office. We can assure you that we have protections in place to aid our office in being a safe healthy environment.
For those of you coming to the office for your visits you will notice some changes. Prior to entering the office, a staff member will be taking your temperature. Based on the recommendations of the health department, any person with a temperature of 100.4 and over will be asked to reschedule or if applicable, conduct their visit through telemedicine. If you have a mask, please wear it to your appointment. For those of you that do not have a mask we will provide you with one. In addition, we are asking that patients do not bring any children with them to their appointments. The only visitors we are permitting at this time are your partner during your 1st trimester as well as your 2nd trimester ultrasound. We realize pregnancy is a special time for you and your partner but this policy decreases the amount of people in the office and decreases possible exposure for everyone. Your health and safety is our top priority.
Please do not hesitate to call the office with any questions. We look forward to seeing you in the office!
